Pathways to meaningful work

Creating inclusive pathways into the workplace

Yayasan Helping Hands supports students and young people with disabilities as they move from education into the workplace.
We work closely with schools and companies as co-partners to make this transition possible through skills training, mentorship, and internships.

Why We Do Our Work

Many young people with disabilities graduate from school with capability and potential. Yet after graduation, many face a critical transition — without access, guidance, or meaningful opportunities to enter the workplace.

The challenge is not ability. It is a gap between education and employment — where talent is often overlooked, and workplaces are still learning how to become truly inclusive.

Yayasan Helping Hands exists to bridge this gap, bringing schools and companies together to prepare both young people and workplaces — practically, respectfully, and collaboratively.

What We Do

1

Mentorship

We connect students with disabilities to corporate mentors, creating space for guidance, confidence-building, and meaningful exchange — while enabling mentors to develop inclusive leadership through real, human relationships.

2

Upskill

We equip participants with practical skills, confidence, and self-awareness for the workplace, while helping companies better understand how to support diverse talent in real-world settings.

3

Internship

We create inclusive work exposure where participants gain hands-on experience, and companies learn to build more inclusive teams through supported, structured engagement.
